Pediatric Endocrinology Associates
What is DPC and why did we switch to cash-only?
Direct Patient-Care (DPC) is our new payment structure. Instead of filing insurance claims and dealing with timelines dictated by others, our clinic is now cash-only and this allows us to ensure you receive the best care, as quickly as possible. Some patients need more than others, and we have different options for your unique needs. **At the end of the visit, we will provide you with a super bill that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.**
Ongoing Specialty Care Membership Program
Our membership-based specialty care program was designed to provide children and families with more continuous, coordinated, and responsive pediatric endocrine care — particularly for chronic conditions that require ongoing monitoring and management, such as diabetes and complex endocrine disorders.
Membership Includes:
Enhanced Access to the Care Team
Membership provides ongoing access to our multidisciplinary pediatric endocrine team, including:
Communication and care coordination may occur through:
Predictable Monthly Cost Structure
Membership allows families to better anticipate the cost associated with ongoing specialty endocrine care and chronic disease management.
Included In-Office Services
Depending on your child’s condition and medical needs, membership may include:
Flexible and Individualized Follow-Up
Because care is structured around ongoing management rather than isolated office visits, the practice is able to provide:
__________________________________________________________________________________________
Non-Membership / Consultation-Based Care
Some endocrine conditions may be appropriate for consultation-based or intermittent specialty care without ongoing membership enrollment.
These visits are generally focused on:
Prescription management and ongoing between-visit care may be limited outside of an ongoing specialty care program, particularly for complex chronic conditions such as diabetes.
Our team will help guide families regarding the most appropriate care pathway based on each child’s individual medical needs.
